Left to right, students in DePaul University’s College of Science and Health, Ben Rohr, environmental studies major, Caitlin Vaughn, environmental science and mathematics major, and Chloe Williams, chemistry major, spent the summer of 2016 studying early land plants and conducting DNA sequencing experiments on lichens while interns at the Field Museum. Thanks to the College of Science and Health’s Dean’s Undergraduate Fellowship, a 10-week summer program, Rohr, Vaughn, Williams and other CSH students gained real life experience and applicable skills that help make them world ready.
