Brother Mark Elder, C.M., works quietly in the office-based attic at Levan Hall Friday, July, 15, 2016, as he puts the finishing touches on several of the murals, including one featuring DePaul's first female graduates, Sister Mark Teresita and Sister Mary Clemenza Leahy. The artwork will hang under the CTA’s Fullerton ‘L’ stop. Throughout the spring 2016 quarter and into the summer, Br. Mark and his Mural Class students will create several portraits and historically-themed murals that will wrap the support columns underneath the CTA’s Fullerton ‘L’ stop, which runs right through DePaul’s Lincoln Park Campus. The murals will depict many prominent, historical figures that have made an impact on DePaul University. (DePaul University/Jamie Moncrief)
