Nell Cobb, Assistant Professor in the College of Education, teaches elementary math education skills Tuesday, Apr. 7, 2015. For more than 22 years Cobb, also a faculty athletics advisor, has dedicated her time to DePaul and the advancement of our youth in mathematics and science. Previously a math teacher for the Chicago Public Schools, Cobb brings an extensive amount of experience in her field. Currently serving as a professional developer through the Algebra Project, she has placed much focus on leading students to math literacy. The mission of this program is to provide quality education to students by using educational research and engaging practices. DePaul has given Professor Cobb the opportunity to bring these methods into the classroom and continue this journey with her students. (DePaul University/Jeff Carrion)
